I\u2019ve discovered one of the passion in my life is to help develop the industry where I\u2019ve spent most of my career in – Takaful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I probably came into this industry by fate. While my late dad spent most of his career in life insurance, he didn\u2019t plan to bring up any of his children to be in the industry. My one and only elder brother took up accountancy and I went to pursue and graduated with a degree in information technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somehow fate brought us both into the insurance industry with my brother now in a deposit insurance regulatory body and myself helping set up my third family takaful operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The industry has grown tremendously over the past decades but there is so much more that needs to be done for it to reach where it is meant to be. And as any other good things and intentions in this world, the journey to improve and grow comes with many challenges, both from internal and external forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope to continue to lend my hand to help grow and develop this industry I love, in line with my religious obligation as a Muslim. This section will be where I\u2019ll share some of the pieces I\u2019ve written or talked on takaful as part of this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopefully the small things I try to do to help makes a difference, if not for the big steps even for the smaller ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
