It’s been a while

I did not manage to meet the KPI I had set for myself to post an entry at least once a week.

The truth is I got into an accident and my mind was set on recovering from it. In between I was tied up with the usual busyness of work and being Ruzain’s daddy.

Alhamdulillah I’ve more or less recovered and at least 85% look like myself – just left some scars that would need time to heal itself.

But in the past few weeks, I tried a new project with Ruzain to do some vegetable gardening. Our first attempt failed but the second attempt seems to show success – at least there are baby leaves coming out. Thanks to our gardening guru – Sifu Intan. Hopefully by next week it will grow healthily so that we can harvest and “eat” our homegrown vegetables.

Other than that, my joy hour is the usual late afternoon cycle with Ruzain around the lake nearby our place. We have a compulsory minimum half an hour pitstop to exercise at a 5 equipments spot. This is a routine that I truly enjoy – its a worthwhile time spent with Ruzain.

The other thing is that finally I got to do after a long time is visiting my mum at my brother’s place. Found out about my brother’s new hobby – like a super random one. He has been making paracord bracelets for fun. Being the only younger brother he has, I have that special trump card of asking for the one I like. It’s during these moments I realize the advantages of being an “adik”.

He even did one for Ruzain – which Ruzain has been randomly wearing.

We have this weird close relationship my brother and I – it’s just the 2 of us. I’ve always looked up to him when I was young and still admire many qualities of his – including this new hobby of his.

As usual, I would do my own innovation on stuff and added my medical alert tag on the paracord bracelet I got from him yesterday.

Just can’t stay quiet can I

So that’s basically what I’ve been up to. Many unsaid, it’s been quite a roller coaster for the first 2 months of 2021. Hopefully March will be a bit kinder to me.
