Short and simple today (actually pretty exhausted today – hahaha). To everyone who have been trying hard in controlling yourself from going out, enduring the pain of being apart from the things you love to do – congratulations to all of us, pat ourselves on the back. We can do this. Keep it up! On the authority of Abu `Amr — and he is also called Abu `Amrah — Sufyan bin Abdullah ath- Thaqafee (RA) who said:I said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about al-Islam which I can ask of no one but you.” He (peace and blessings...
This is a long overdue post. When I started writing, I told myself that this would be among the few headlines I would write about first. But then came COVID-19, it started becoming bad, really bad. Everyone’s attention (including mine) was directed to its development and how best to stay safe (rightfully so). Today, I decided to dedicate time to write this piece out, to give tribute to the amazing work done by amazing people. Today I stumbled upon a news article: 10,650 attendees of the tabligh gathering has been traced where 10,553 of them have already been checked by the Health ministry. 513 tested positive with 4,986 samples taken, 2,559 negative and the remaining pending results. Thus far, 1 passed away – May Allah bless his soul. I continue to be amazed by the heroes from the Health ministry, and for this particular effort I am sure there are many other government agencies involved as well. Tracking down close to 11,000 people isn’t an easy feat – for sure. Salute. Respect.Thank you. Heart all of...
