It’s the first day of 2024.
Started the day early at 12.00am (hahaha) trying to get Ruzain to sleep.
Finally got him to at 3.30am probably (didn’t really look at the watch).
Considered a success given he slept at close to 12pm (yes it’s pm not am) on new year’s eve (and woke up at 2pm+ – life is never accurate when it comes to Ruzain).
Slept back after Subuh and how else best to celebrate the new year sleeping in (hahahaha – it’s been this trend for the last two weeks of year end holidays).
Come to think of it, Ruzain is actually reliving my teenage life of sleeping late and sleeping in. The family has been owls, from my late dad to my brother (who still sleeps late) and your’s truly especially when I was younger.
These days I wish that I can sleep and wake up earlier to enjoy the hours of the day more.
Work in progress. Hopefully will get there someday.
